AL600
MTC Wesgo offers a variety of Alumina ceramic and manufactures its own AL600 material (we do not sell raw material). Our engineers will precisely match our materials to ensure high quality reliable ceramic components.
AL600 is a highly versatile 96% Alumina that has an excellent combination of mechanical, electrical thermal and chemical properties. Featuring high mechanical strength and hardness, plus low thermal expansion across a wide temperature range and high volume resistivity, it is resistant to chemical attack and abrasion. AL600 is also excellent for products that are to be metallized as it will readily accept moly-manganese metalizing for high temperature brazing of assemblies.
It is a dense, non porous, vacuum tight material that has a consistent dielectric constant making it excellent for manufacturing products such as pressure sensors for fluid flow measurement, and barrier coatings for sputtering targets, electron tube components and laser components.
Products made from AL600 can be lapped to very tight tolerances or can be produced using Isostatic or dry pressing and can be manufactured in prototype, batch or volume production.
