AL300
MTC Wesgo offers a variety of Alumina ceramic and manufactures its own AL300 material (we do not sell raw material). Our engineers will precisely match our materials to ensure high quality reliable ceramic components.
Our engineers recommend AL300 as an excellent material for products that are to be metallized as it will readily accept moly-manganese metalizing for high temperature brazing of assemblies. Exhibiting a loss factor lower than any other low purity Alumina, it has good thermal conductivity and resists chemical attack and abrasion.
AL300 is electrically and dimensionally stable across a wide temperature range due to its exceptionally high dielectric strength with a consistent dielectric constant.
AL300 is an excellent material for manufacturing products such as laser components, electro-optical equipment, flow measurement devices, pressure sensors, klystron power tubes and x-ray equipment used in defence, medical and communications markets.
Products made from AL300 can be lapped to very tight tolerances or can be produced using Isostatic or dry pressing and can be manufactured in prototype, batch or volume production.
